1and1 IPS Tag
If you are about to transfer your .co.uk domain name or another .uk domain to another provider, it will be nescessary to change the IPS tag with your current domain registrar. Many companies now offer the facility to input the IPS tag change within your online account. Others need you to contact them to make the change.
We have provided the 1and1 IPS Tag, also for IONOS, as a quick reference below.
As you can see, there are three options for the IPS tag, either one will suffice. Simply enter this in your current provider control panel, if you have the option to do so. If not, get in touch with your current provider and ask them to apply the 1and1 IPS tag.
Usually the procedure can take around 7 days, although the transfer can often be verified manually to speed up the process.
